EdX Quietly Developing ‘MicroBachelors’ Program

EdX, a nonprofit online education group founded by MIT and Harvard, is developing a new degree designed to make earning college credentials more accessible for students. Their “MicroBachelors” program makes higher education more modular and manageable for different types of learners. It will break up degrees that previously took years to complete into shorter-term sections. This comes as edX continues to develop MicroMasters degrees, which create similarly modular content for graduate students.
